Bring adequate protection from the elements

Running

Base Layers

Ideally full-length synthetic    layers and short-sleeve kit & the best sports underwear you can afford

Extra Warm Layers

Keep warm headwear & clothing close at hand to wear between laps or when resting & sleeping

Headtorch

A powerful LED (at least 160 lumens) head torch that will give usable light for as many hours as required.  

Spare Batteries

Spare batteries or battery pack to fit your head torch OR a spare head torch.

Emergency

Food Item

Carry at least one energy-dense food item in case of emergency, e.g. gel, bar or fruit.

Overnight

Equipment

Even if you don't plan to sleep you need a base to keep your spare kit and equipment. No huge tents please!

Fully charged and waterproofed - ready for emergencies or those essential selfies!
