A powerful LED (at least 160 lumens) head torch that will give usable light for as many hours as required.
Spare Batteries
Spare batteries or battery pack to fit your head torch OR a spare head torch.
Emergency
Food Item
Carry at least one energy-dense food item in case of emergency, e.g. gel, bar or fruit.
Overnight
Equipment
Even if you don't plan to sleep you need a base to keep your spare kit and equipment. No huge tents please!
